About Gopi
Gopi Kallayil is Google's Chief Business Strategist for AI, where he works directly with the company's largest enterprise customers on using AI to change how they operate and how they serve their own customers. Before stepping into the AI role, he spent years as Google's Chief Evangelist for Brand Marketing, after leading marketing for AdWords across the Americas and Asia Pacific and running marketing for AdSense.
His path to Google ran through two venture-backed Silicon Valley startups and a stint as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he advised Fortune 500 management teams on performance and revenue. He earned a bachelor's in electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India, then picked up MBAs from both the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
